Aloha Friday - October 2, 2009

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

What Is It About Christmas Music,
That Your Really Enjoy?

I enjoy the feeling I get when I listen to Christmas Music.
I feel at peace, happy and the goodness all around us.

    I love the familiarity of Christmas songs. And, they just put you in the mood for the season.

    Sorry to be a little Bah-Humbug here. I like Christmas music, but at a certain point it can be too much. Each year it starts earlier and earlier and takes over the radio stations. Sure, some of this could be thanks to not celebrating Christmas, but other people have said it has gotten out of control in recent years.

    I love Christmas music and have a tendency to hum/sing it all year round -- which really annoys my husband :-) But it makes me feel happy and hopeful so what the heck, more Christmas music I say :-)
